Two-day special Camp in Dibrugarh on installation of High-Security Registration Plate in vehicles

Dibrugarh: Dibrugarh District Transport Department is going to organize a two-day special camp on June 22 and June 23 regarding installation of High-Security Registration Plate (HSRP) on certain vehicles. All the owners of tractors, three-wheelers and commercial heavy vehicles, among others, who had applied and paid for the HSRP but were not able to turn up on the allotted date for installing the same, can go to the camp and do the needful. It is noteworthy that despite the Supreme Court of India ruling in favour of HSRP replacing the convention registration plates, and ordering the government to put it into action very soon, many vehicle owners in the town were found not to have made the transition.
