Two dead, three injured in road mishap at Neoul Gaon under Dergaon

JORHAT: Two of a family died while three others were injured when a dumper truck carrying porcupine skidded off from the River Brahmaputra embankment road that leads to Neoul Gaon under Dergaon Revenue Circle on Wednesday afternoon. The truck was carrying anti-erosion equipment from Neematighat towards downstream of the mighty Brahmaputra, informed Jorhat Superintendent of Police Mrinal Talukdar. The deceased were identified as Rinku Das (32) and Pinku Das (32) while the injured were identified as Bolen Das, Mithai Das and Horupai Das. They were rushed to JMCH.
