Two dies of COVID in Tezpur Medical College and Hospital

JAMUGURIHAT: Two COVID positive patients from Sootea have died in two days. According to the information, Purna Kanta Nath (42), a resident of Jaisiddhi under Sootea PS who suffered from respiratory problems, was admitted in Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMCH) on May 6. He tested COVID positive at Biswanath Civil Hospital and was referred to TMCH for further treatment but he breathed his last on Sunday night. Mohan Baruah (57), a resident of Baruah Chook, Sootea, breathed his last at TMCH on Monday. He tested COVID positive at New Nagsankar PHC on May 3. According to information, Baruah reported breathing problems to his family members on May 7 and was immediately admitted to TMCH but he succumbed to the virus on Monday.
