Two drug peddlers arrested in Chirang district

BONGAIGAON: Two drug peddlers were arrested in Bijni of Chirang district. As per sources, Monkhushi Devi (50) and her son Onimoy Mondol were coming from Moutara area of Bijni subdivision in Chirang district in an e-rickshaw when few local people grew suspicious and nabbed them at Bijni.

They informed the police. The police arrived and searched them. Police found a small container full of drugs. Both were arrested. The two arrested are residents of Ratiram road of Bijni subdivision in Chirang district.
