Two from Assam take part in international event
In the 5th Summit of the Asian Congress of Radiation Research (ACRR) and third biennial meeting of the Society for Radiation Research (SRR- India)

BARPETA: In the 5th Summit of the Asian Congress of Radiation Research (ACRR) and third biennial meeting of the Society for Radiation Research (SRR- India), organized by bio science group, Bhaba Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai, Daisy Das and her brother Ankur Das got a chance to participate in the event.
A total of 184 delegates from all over the world participated in the event. Among the three delegates from Assam, Daisy Das and Ankur Das (both the siblings) hail from Howly of the Barpeta district. Daisy Das, daughter of Brajen Das, is a teacher by profession, who teaches Mathematics and Science at St.Teresa's English Medium School in Barpeta.
Talking to media persons, Daisy Das said, "My younger brother, Ankur Das and I have been invited to Japan by the Mayor of Hiroshima to attend the next ACRR summit, and for that l feel extremely happy." "We are also going to attend the next SPACE CONGRESS in 2023 that is to be held in New Delhi," she added.
