Two Gohpur candidates shine in HS (Sc) exam

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Two boys from Gohpur subdivision in Biswanath district excelled in the Science stream of the Higher Secondary (HS) final examination, 2020. Brenjit Hazarika and Amlan Jyoti Pegu appeared in the exam from Ramanujan Junior College, Nagaon. Brenjit Hazarika secured sixth position while Amlan Jyoti Pegu got seventh position. Brenjit got 95.4 percentage with letter marks in English, Assamese, Physics, Chemestry, Mathematics and Statistics. He is the son of Runu Hazarika and Prafulla Hazarika, a teacher by profession and a resident of Gagalgaon, Kalabari. He also got 4th position in the HSLC examination, 2018. On the other hand, Amlan Jyoti secured 95.2 percentage with letter marks in English, Alternative English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics. Amlan Jyoti hails from Rajabari Natun Dhandi village of Kalabari and is the son of teacher Narayan Pegu and Arun Jyoti Pegu.
