Two health officials of Lakhimpur district attached to Joint Director of DHS office

LAKHIMPUR: Two health department officials of Lakhimpur district have been directed to report immediately to the Joint DHS, Lakhimpur and remain attached in the office concerned until the Departmental Proceeding (DP) is revoked, an order said. As per the order issued by the Joint Director of DHS, Lakhimpur, vide No. JDHL/Misc/2023/ 4058, the Departmental Proceeding has been drawn against them in relation to a case at Bongalmora CHC on 26-07-2023.

These officials are Dr Dipen Borah, M&HO-1, Bongalmara CHC and Sanjib Hazarika, CHO, Tamargaon HWC, Nowboicha BPHC. They are further directed to attend the office of the Joint Director of DHS, Lakhimpur regularly from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and no headquarter leave will be allowed to them, without prior permission from the Joint Director of DHS, Lakhimpur. The order has also restricted them from any private practice during the period.
