Two held with arms and ammunition in Sivasagar district

SIVASAGAR: Two miscreants were held with arms and ammunition during a joint operation carried out by Bihubor Police and Assam Rifles at Ougurijan under Bihubar Police Station in Sivasagar district on Thursday.

The arrested miscreants were identified as WJ Ao from Dimapur and Longwey from Mon, Nagaland. According to police, one .22 pistol and two live rounds of ammunition along with a 150cc Pulsar bike bearing registration number AS04F-8597 were recovered from the possession of the arrested miscreants. Both the apprehended miscreants were brought to Bihubar PS for interrogation.
