Two Poachers Arrested in Ripu Reserve Forest, Arms Recovered

Gossaigaon: Based on internal inputs about hunters and poachers roaming around in the Ripu reserve forest area of Indo-Bhutan border, the Kachugaon forest division on Wednesday launched an operation at Kachgaon forest and apprehended two poachers along with two hunting rifles. The apprehended persons have been identified as Babulal Shoren (24), son of Baburam Shoren of village Kushumbil, and Nala Lahari (40), son of Dolo Lahari of village Bathauguri under Takompur BOP respectively. The recovered persons along with the items were brought to the Kachugaon Forest divisional office for further investigation.
