UCO Bank organizes Customer Outreach Programme at Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: The two-day Customer Outreach programme organized by the UCO Bank begins from Thursday at Kokrajhar Government Higher Secondary and Multipurpose School ground in Kokrajhar district. The programme was inaugurated by BTC Additional Principal Secretary Robinson Mushahary, Kokajhar Deputy Commissioner Partha Pratim Mazumdar by lighting the inaugural lamp.
The programme is a part of the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India customer outreach initiative’. The Customer Outreach will cover financial awareness, digital banking awareness and all initiatives of the Government of India under financial inclusion programme. The event will also focus on women empowerment, entrepreneur development with special emphasis on Make in India, Stand Up India, MSME development, agriculture lending, SHG finance etc. All 3 public sector banks, 13 private sector banks operating in the district, apart from NABARD, ASRLM, NULM, DI&CC and SIDBI are participating in the event.
