Udalguri Arya Samaj submits memo to Deputy Commissioner

UDALGURI: A delegation led by Rishiram Pokhrel, the vice-president of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Northeast, met Dr. P Uday Praveen, the Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri, and appealed to him to provide toilet and water facility in the Arya Samaj campus at Udalguri.

The other member of the delegation were Puspadhar Sarma, the Principal of Udalguri H S School, Kamal Upadhyaya, the secretary of Udalguri Arya Samaj, and Baidyanath Upadhyaya, journalist. Dr. P Uday Praveen assured the Arya Samaj delegation that he would try to fulfil the urgent need of the Samaj. The delegation also felicitated him with a Nepali Khada and presented a 'Satyarth Prakash'. He also assured that he would visit the Udalguri Arya Samaj to take stock of the situation.
