Udalguri Bishwakarma Sangha conference held at Samrang

UDALGURI: The first triennial conference of Udalguri district Bishwakarma Sangha was held with a two-day long programme at Samrang. The conference began with the hoisting of flag by Karma Bahadur Singaure, the president of Udalguri district Bishwakarma Sangha, followed by tribute to Dalbir Singh Lohar, the Indian Constitution preparation committee member, by Gokul Lamichhane, the president of the reception committee. The open session was inaugurated by Krishna Rijal, the Bishwakarma Sangha adviser.

Manoj Bishwakarma was felicitated with a citation and Nepali cap for completing his PhD from NERIST. The open session was presided over by Karna Bahadur Singaure. The delegates of Bishwakarma Sangha selected Karma Bahadur Singaure as president and Tez Gadal as general secretary for the next tenure.
