Udalguri DC Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia felicitates HSLC topper of district

KALAIGAON/UDALGURI: Udalguri Deputy Commissioner Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia felicitated Bikash Daimari of Diamond English School in Harishinga. Bikash is the HSLC topper of the district. He secured 94.6 per cent in the HSLC exam, 2020, result of which was declared recently.
Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia felicitated him with gamosa, Aronai and money in his house in village Jhakaragaon on Tuesday. The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Superintendent of Police Ripul Das and in-charge DIPRO Debashish Borthakur. He interacted with Bikash and his family and asked him to work hard.
Total 8,784 students had appeared in the HSLC exam from the district and a total of 5,067 passed. Among them, 81 secured distinction marks, 214 got star marks, 1031 got first division, 1,888 got second division and 2,148 passed in third division. The pass percentage of Udalguri district is 57.92 per cent.
