Udalguri DC Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia laid foundation stone of Circuit House

KALAIGAON: Prakash Ranjan Gharphalia, Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri, unveiled the foundation stone for construction of Circuit House at Bhergaon on Monday in the presence of Gakul Ch. Brahma, SDO (C) of Bhergaon subdivision along with other officers.

The scheme was sanctioned by Additional Chief Engineer-cum-CHD of PWD on behalf of Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar, at an estimated Rs. 2.5 crore. "For the last 17 years, the people of greater Bhergaon have been demanding that a Circuit House should be constructed and I am happy to be able to get the sanction for the work to be done. The Circuit House will benefit the people, especially the government officials," said the Deputy Commissioner. He also asked the contractor engaged to build the building as per estimate and within a short period of time.
