Udalguri Municipal Board Felicitates Safaikarmis

UDALGURI: The Udalguri Municipal Board has been felicitated eight safaikarmis of Udalguri town for their contribution to society. Rakesh Chandra Boro the Chairman of Udalguri Municipal Board has said that the Safaikarmis have a great contribution to keep the town area clean. They are working on a meagre salary. The felicitated safaikarmis were Simson Khakhlari, Kamal Bayan, Pankaj Patowari, Deben Daimari, Ringun Daimari, Kanul Basumatari, Ramrati Basfor and Kailash Basfor Gobinda Chandra Basumatari the BTC Deputy Chief and MLA Udalguri, Rakesh Chandra Boro the Chairman Udalguri Municipal Board, Harisinga MCLA Sanjoy Swargiari have paid tribute to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Udalguri Kulen Boro and his team has presented Gandhi Bhajan on that occasion.
