Udalguri Police recovered a large cache of arms & ammunition

UDALGURI: Acting on a tip-off, Udalguri Police recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition from No. 1 Garoibari village, Udalguri. They recovered one AK 56 rifle, 16 live cartridges, 8 empty cartridges, one magazine, one handmade pistol, 32 live ammunition of .32 pistol, 6 ammunition of 9 mm pistol and a Chinese grenade. The police have registered a case 25 (A1) under 3/4 Arms Act 119/2020 and investigation is on. Police have not arrested anyone so far. These arms and ammunition were recovered from a jungle.
