BARPETA: The concluding programme of celebration of 150 years of Barpeta Government Higher Secondary School will be held on February 12 and February 13, 2022.
Barpeta Government Higher Secondary School was established in 1865 as a non-government ME school and it was upgraded to high school in 1871. After a year-long programme, there will be a discussion on 'The New Education Policy' where State Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu will also take part.
The celebration committee on Friday held a press meet and explained in details about the two-day programme. The two-day concluding programme will include inauguration of the souvenir, exhibition, procession, open session, cultural show and alumni meet. The total budget for the programme is Rs 30 lakh.
