Various organizations condole Miliki Baruah's demise

DULIAJAN, October 1: Various organizations like Sadou Asom Mottock Yuba Chatra Sanmilan (SAMYCS), All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Gorkha Students’ Union (GSU), Chutia Chatra Santha and Asom Moran Sabha observed shradhajanli on Thursday at the Old Bus Stand, Duliajan to condole the demise of Miliki Baruah, mother of ULFA commander-in-chief Paresh Baruah. A condolence meeting was held in which Bipul Moran, litterateur of Duliajan, lit candles. A minute silence was observed. In the condolence meeting Mintu Borpatra Gohain, former secretary of SAMYCS, Bulbul Neog, Information and Publicity Secretary of SAMYCS, Pranjal Rajknower, information and publicity secretary of ATASU, Dibruagrh District Committee, Jitul Saikia, Dibrugarh district president of Chutia Chatra Santha, Ramesh Subedi, president of GSU, Duliajan Anchalik Committee, Jatil Moran , president of Asom Moran Sabha, Duliajan Branch, Deepjyoti Baruah and Sanjoy Gohain, president and secretary respectively of SAMYCS, Duliajan Anchalik Committee were present.
