Various organizations extend New Year greetings to people of Assam

LAKHIMPUR: All Assam Unemployed Association (AAUA) central committee president in-charge Dharmendra Deori and general secretary Jiban Rajkhowa extended greetings to the people of the State for New Year.

In a press release, the president-in-charge and the general secretary said that the AAUA would organize extensive awareness programmes among the unemployed youths of the State in the forthcoming year. In this regard, the organization has sought advice and suggestions from the people of the State. The Lakhimpur district unit AAUA president-in-charge Kukil Ranjan Hazarika and general secretary-in-charge Simanta Bania also extended New Year greetings to all.

Lakhimpur district unit All Assam Minority Students’ Union also extended New Year wishes to the people of the State. The president of the Lakhimpur unit of the organization, Aminur Rahman, working president Rafikuddin Ahmed (Faruk) and general secretaries Bodiur Rahman and Minash Ali hoped that the New Year would bring peace, progress and prosperity to the State ushering in integration and harmony.
