Vigilance Awareness Week organized by Dibrugarh Airport management
This year Vigilance Awareness Week was organized by Dibrugarh Airport management between October 31 to November 6.
DIBRUGARH: Dibrugarh Airport along with its stakeholder organizes Vigilance Awareness Week every year to spread integrity in all spheres of life. This year Vigilance Awareness Week was organized by Dibrugarh Airport management between October 31 to November 6.
The awareness week commenced by commemorating the birth anniversary of 'Lauh Purush' Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. Cycle Run for Unity was organized by the airport fraternity on October 31.
To make this day memorable between esteemed passengers and the airport fraternity, a uni-tea counter along with a selfie counter was also organized. With the theme of Corruption-free India for a developed nation, an integrity pledge among all AAI employees and all stakeholders was administered in presence of the Airport Director.
The airport fraternity also organized an interactive discussion among its AAI officials and all stakeholders working at Dibrugarh Airport creating awareness for a corruption-free India. Slogan-writing competition as well as essay-writing competition were also organized among all employees of AAI.
As a part of Vigilance Awareness Week, Dibrugarh Airport also organized an Awareness Gram Sabha for dissemination of information regarding menace of corruption and various ways public can take to redress it. Awareness posters, banners, pamphlets were also distributed in Gram Sabha. To sow in the seeds of the notion of integrity in young minds, a painting competition with the theme of corruption-free India was organized at a nearby government primary school.
The Awareness Week closing ceremony was held on Sunday followed by a prize distribution ceremony with a feeling that vigilance awareness is an everyday task of each citizen of India towards its endeavour to make our country a nation of beautiful minds and corruption free.
