Vishwakarma Puja to be celebrated on Thursday

DEMOW: Vishwakarma Puja will be celebrated throughout the State as well as in Demow and its surrounding areas on Thursday. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the decoration of the pandals have not been done in Demow and moreover, the Vishwakarma idols were not brought in Demow till Wednesday evening. However, people thronged the markets to buy colourful garlands along with other puja items on the eve of Vishwakarma Puja on Wednesday. This year only the rituals will be performed in Vishwakarma Puja.
