Viswa Hindu Parishad body constituted on the eve of Republic Day

SILCHAR: A new committee of 'Dakshin Purba Pranto' (south east region) of Viswa Hindu Parishad was constituted on the eve of Republic Day with senior advocate Santanu Naik as president and Professor Swapan Suklabaidya as the general secretary. Soumitra Biswas is the new working president while Purna Chandra Mandal will look after the post of organisational secretary. The jumbo committee, comprising of 14 executive members, has Debobrata Paul as the treasurer.
