Wanted teer mafia arrested by Nagaon police

NAGAON: Based on secret inputs, Nagaon police led by OC, Nagaon PS, Inspector Manoj Rajbanshi arrested a wanted teer mafia identified as Maminuddin Ahmed alias Raju Alom from Barbheti area on Saturday. Police recovered Rs 1.5 lakh in cash and other objectionable items from his possession on spot.

Sources claimed that Raju was absconding from police for months and when he saw the police team. He first tried to escape from police. But police chased him for a while and then picked him up, sources added further.
