Warm welcome accorded to BJP leader on joining Congress at Rajiv Bhavan

DOOMDOOMA: Kakapather block Congress Committee accorded a warm welcome to former MLA and BJP vice-president Dilip Moran, who joined the Congress party recently at Rajiv Bhavan, Guwahati. At first, he was taken to Rajiv Bhavan at Wood Road, Doomdooma by bike rally and thereafter a felicitation meeting was held with Lakhimpur Sonowal, president of Kakapather block Congress Committee, in the chair. The meeting was attended by Jeuti Baruah, secretary of Tinsukia District Committee Congress (I) as observer, MLA Durga Bhumij and other leaders. In the felicitation programme, altogether 60 persons of Gabharubheti Gaon Panchayat (GP), Bandarkhati GP and Dhoedam GP and TE formally joined the Congress (I).
