Dibrugarh: Water-logging is one major hindrance in the way of actualising urbanization in the real sense of the term. And this issue has started becoming persistent here. The spot right in front of the Dibrugarh Sadar Police Station at Thanacharali is often seen inundated with rainwater. The stretch under water, despite being like a smear on a bright spot due to its prominent location, has also become quite a pain for the commuters. It also raises questions on road safety as the people, while trying to avoid a splash of the puddle, risk the possibility of collision with other commuters. It is surprising that the spot, despite being located at such pivotal a place, has been given a slight by the authority with such ease.
