Woman allegedly killed by husband in Sivasagar

JOYSAGAR: A laborer of the Mathurapur Tea Estate of Sivasagar, Moni Khadal (29) was allegedly killed by her husband Ashok Khadal (37) on Tuesday night following a domestic quarrel.

Ashok was under the influence of liquor and he attacked his wife with an iron rod following which Moni died. Mathurapur Police under Sivasagar recovered her body on Wednesday morning and also booked Ashok for murdering his wife.
