Won’t allow CAA to be implemented: APCC President Ripun Bora

MORIGAON: The Congress party’s padayatra program for creating awareness among the people against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act reached Morigaon town on Wednesday. Addressing a rally at Morigaon Bihutoli, APCC president Ripun Bora said, “We cannot allow the unconstitutional act to be implemented at any cost in the territory of Assam. The contentious Act will pose a threat to the existence of the next generation.”
Earlier, the padayatra moved from Raha via Barapujia and Jaluguti and reached Morigaon where the members were welcomed by the district committee.
