Workshop for college faculty by Marian College Kuttikkanam concludes in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: The 21-day workshop on Moddle Site Creation, organized by Marian College Kuttikkanam for the faculty of Don Bosco College, Golaghat from September 22 to October 21, concluded on Wednesday with the valedictory function.

Twenty-five faculty of the college participated in the training programme and received certificates. Eminent guests of the programme were Rev. Dr. Roy Abraham P, Principal of Marian College Kuttikanam, Prof. Harry Cleetus, former Principal of St. Albert's College, and Dr. Binu Thomas, IQAC Coordinator.

Anjan Bharali, Head of the Commerce department of Don Bosco College, Golaghat, in his presentation showed how video creation and editing tools could be used to make online teaching more interesting for better engagement of students in online classes. Priyanka Baruah, Head of the English Department, shared how the workshop helped the faculty to keep abreast with the ever-changing technology and the mindset of the students. The various video sessions as well as the Zoom interaction with Dr. Thomas enriched the entire teaching faculty and helped to equip them with necessary technological skills to conquer the present pandemic situation and continue the teaching and learning process.
