A day-long workshop for small tea growers of Tinsukia and Dibrugarh district was held at Tinsukia on Tuesday under the aegis of Solidaridad-Asia through its flagship project 'Trinitea'.

TINSUKIA: A day-long workshop for small tea growers of Tinsukia and Dibrugarh district was held at Tinsukia on Tuesday under the aegis of Solidaridad-Asia through its flagship project 'Trinitea'. A total of 41 anchalik committees of small tea grower associations represented by their presidents and secretaries of Tinsukia (22) and Dibrugarh (19) districts attended the workshop. The workshop also dwelt at length on the future challenges
Trinitea is tea producer's self-assessment digital tool tailor-made for small holders in Indian tea industry that helps to assess on farm sustainability and supports producers with good agricultural practices. Funded by Solidaridad and facilitated by Indian Tea Association, the programme aims to sustainably transform the tea smallholder segment in India.
