Workshop on Jal Jeevan Mission held in Goalpara

GOALPARA: A district-level workshop on the social processes of Jal Jeevan Mission for Jal Mitras and Implementation Support Agencies (ISA) was organized on Thursday at the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department office, Goalpara.

The programme was organized by Piramal Foundation in collaboration with the PHE Department, Goalpara office. The event began with Pallab Das, Executive Engineer of PHED Goalpara Pallab Das as he lit the lamp and set the context for the workshop. The guest speaker for the workshop was Tabrez Siddique who has an experience of more than 20 years of working in piped water schemes field. Sessions were conducted on various topics like roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders and various social accountability processes in the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission.
