World Cancer Day observed by IDA

PATHSALA: World Cancer Day was observed by Indian Dental Association Assam State branch in Pathsala. In the programme, Dr.Rupam Choudhury elaborated on oral cancer and its preventive measures. Dr.Trisanka Kalita and Dr.Pragyan Das were present in the event as guests of honour. Dr Dhanjit Das, a well-known gynaecologist, elaborated on various aspects of breast cancer. Saraju Das, a survivor of head and neck cancer, narrated her experience with cancer. Kaushik Patgiri, who cycled to Dhola Sadia bridge from Pathsala, and Nitul Tahbildar from Pathsala Cycling Club also attended the event. Around 100 people were present in the event. Members of Shreesti, Pathsala and volunteers from Nehru Yuba Kendra, Barpeta also presented in the event.
