World Diabetes Day observed in Old Railway Colony
The World Diabetes Day was observed under the auspices of Lower Assam Diabetes Society on Monday.

DHUBRI: The World Diabetes Day was observed under the auspices of Lower Assam Diabetes Society on Monday. As a part of the programme to create awareness on the diabetes, a rally was taken out in the town wherein a large number of doctors, retired persons, social workers and youths took part. Thereafter, a public meeting along with a diabetes check-up camp was organized in the premises of Railway Institute located in Old Railway Colony. Bongaigaon Superintendent of Police, Swapanil Deka while addressing the meeting as the chief guest spoke at a length on diabetes and said that it was high time that one should take care of health issues. It was in the hand of everyone and he or she should not ignore or neglect the health.
