World Environment Day celebrated in Tangla town

TANGLA: To mark the World Environment Day celebration, the Tangla PHE division under District Water and Sanitation Committee, Udalguri conducted a plantation drive in the office premises in Tangla town on Friday.

The programme began with plantation of saplings by the Executive Engineer, Tangla PHE division, Abdul Karim along with Junior Engineer Mridul Baruah, besides a number of office staff. Later, as part of the plantation drive, nearly 200 saplings were planted across 40 water supply schemes under the division.
