Xatradhikar Jugadananda Dev Goswami donates one month’s pension to Assam Arogya Nidhi

TINSUKIA: Honouring the appeal of the government for generous support in view of COVID-19 outbreak, the octogenarian Xatradhikar of Mayamora Dinjay Xatra and also a former teacher, Jugadananda Dev Goswami donated his one month’s pension of Rs 21,000 to Assam Arogya Nidhi. He handed over the cheque to Sanjay Kishan, Minister of State for Labour, at a solemn programme held at TMB Tinsukia on Monday.

Meanwhile, Tinsukia Press Club, in association with Tinsukia District Students’ Union (AASU) and Muttock Yuba Chatra Sanmilan, distributed relief to more than 500 needy families of Kokoratuli, Hengalguri and Borguri areas on the outskirts of Tinsukia town.
