Yaba Tablets Seized by Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force

GUWAHATI: Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force apprehended 2 Indian nationals along with 1450 Yaba tablets on Sunday, from Halakura area under Golakganj Police Station in Dhubri district.

Acting on a tip-off, BSF troops with the police of Halakura check post carried out an operation near High Secondary School, Halakura and apprehended them. The 2 apprehended persons were identified as Alep Ali (25 yrs) son of Md Kadus Ali of Pokalgai village in Dhubri district and Surojit Roy (34 yrs) son of Ganesh Chandra Roy of Koimari, Part-II village in Dhubri district. Both of them were handed over to Halakura Police check post for further legal action, stated a press release.
