Yoga session held in Lakhimpur Commerce College

LAKHIMPUR: A yoga session for better physical and mental health was held at Lakhimpur Commerce College on Tuesday. Organized by the Physical and Mental Health and Wellness Cell of the college, the yoga session was inaugurated by Principal Dr Lohit Hazarika. The objective of the programme was explained by Dr Rupjyoti Bhattacharjee, convener of the Physical and Mental Health and Wellness Cell of the college.

Indreswar Bora and Govind Saikia of North East Yogasan Training and Physical Healthcare Centre attended the yoga session as resource persons. The yoga session was attended by all the faculty members of Lakhimpur Commerce College, the librarian and IT department. It may be mentioned that the Lakhimpur Commerce College has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with North East Yogashan Training and Physical Healthcare Centre for imparting yoga education in the college.
