Young scribe Kaustovmoni Hazarika of Golaghat passes away
Young journalist of Golaghat and social, cultural worker, Kaustovmoni Hazarika passed away on Thursday morning due to liver ailments.

GOLAGHAT: Young journalist of Golaghat and social, cultural worker, Kaustovmoni Hazarika passed away on Thursday morning due to liver ailments. He was 44.
Hazarika was born in Hatiakhowa of Golaghat. He started his career as a journalist at Asomiya Pratidin as a correspondent from Golaghat. He was also actively associated with various socio-cultural and literary organizations. He also published several books.
His death has been widely mourned by the people of Golaghat and all the organizations of which he was a part. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers. The Golaghat AASU, AJYCP, Golaghat Press Club and Journalist Association of Golaghat have extended condolences to the bereaved family.
