Youth beheads couple in Nagaon

NAGAON: Sensation prevailed on Tuesday morning at Kothiatoli Gorubandha Mikirgaon village after a youth beheaded an aged woman and her husband. According to sources, the deceased couple has been identified as Maloti Biswash (52) and her husband Sukumar Biswash (60). Police later in the afternoon arrested the accused youth, Binoy Biswash of the same village.

Sources said that the woman took her cow for grazing in the yard of her neighbour Binoy Biswash in the morning. But Binoy objected and tried to send her back. It sparked a quarrel between them. Amidst the exchange of arguments as well as the quarrelling between them, Binoy went on a rampage and out of anger beheaded her. Meanwhile, her husband Sukumar Biswash saw the entire gruesome incident and rushed to the spot, Binoy chopped him to death too on the spot with the same machete and left the scene.

Police recovered the bodies of the couple and sent them for post-mortem. Subsequently, Kothiatoli Police arrested the accused Binoy Biswash when he was taking shelter in a secret place. Police have already registered a case against the brutal killing of the couple at Kothiatoli police outpost.
