Youth dies in Guwahati Medical College and hospital under Changsari police station's custody

GORESWAR: Tension prevailed on Friday in and around Goreswar in Baksa district after the death of a youth of Dorakahara under Changsari police station of Kamrup district (R) in Guwahati Medical College and hospital.

Police recovered one Biju Das (20) son of Krishna Das who was working as a handyman of a truck driver of Tajul Ali of Marami Chowk near Bhogpur under Goreswar police station in Baksa district. Some villagers saw him at the back side of Tajul Ali’s house and informed the Goreswar police. Police ran to the spot immediately and recovered Biju in a critical condition. Then, police sent him to Guwahati Medical college and hospital for treatment but Biju died on the way. Goreswar police registered an FIR No 52/19, in this connection and arrested Tajul Ali, Bidul Ali and Rima Begum in this connection.
