Youth injured in a road mishap in Sarupathar town

SARUPATHAR: Two motorbikes bearing registration numbers of Assam met with an accident in Sarupathar town. A youth was injured seriously after the motorbikes had a head-on collision. He has been identified as Kailash Bashpa (24), son of Dilip Bashpa, resident of the railway colony in Sarupathar. Kailash was rushed to the Sarupathar CHC. The public raised an alarm after the incident and gathered at the accident spot. A police team also reached the spot. The SDM&HO of Sarupathar CHC said, "The patient is not conscious and preliminary treatment has already been given and we are preparing to refer him to Golaghat civil hospital for further treatment."
