Zubeen Garg not an artiste with social responsibility, says Ajit Bhuyan

BARPETA: "Zubeen Garg is not an artiste with social responsibility. No doubt he is a popular and talented artiste. But to work for the nation, one has to raise voice against an anti-people government," said Ajit Bhuyan, Rajya Sabha MP, at Barpeta Press Club during a meeting of Anchalik Gana Marcha.

In this meeting, veteran journalist Haidar Hussain, Manjit Mahanta, Haliram Terang and Mehdi Alom Bora were also present. Ajit Bhuyan also appeared unhappy with the All Assam Students' Union (AASU). "Anchalik Gana Marcha has not thought about alliance with the Congress and AIUDF till now. But to uproot the BJP in the election, if necessary they will think about it," said Bhuyan.
