Silchar: The 75th foundation day of the Azad Hind Fauj or the Indian National Army (INA) which was raised by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was celebrated with full honor and solemnity by Netaji Subhas Foundation here on Sunday. Atin Das, poet, writer and senior journalist unfurled the National Flag. Atin Das said that it was Netaji who promised the countrymen that India would be an ideal nation with equal rights and equal opportunities for everyone. He also promised a prosperous and affluent nation. His visions and dreams, even after so many years, are yet to be fulfilled, pointed out Atin Das. Netaji even said that he would do away with the British’s policy of ‘divide and rule’.
