Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) felicitates 62 students

Silchar, July 11: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Silchar unit, felicitated 62 meritorious students on the occasion of National Students Day which was observed on the Parishad’s 69th foundation day at Gandhi Bhawan, Park road of Silchar on Tuesday evening. The students at High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) levels from different schools and colleges were felicitated by the Parishad. ABVP worker Sujit Tiwari said, “We should think of building a nation and also try to bring revolutionary changes in the country.”

Sujit Tiwari further said that character building is most important thing. “ABVP, in its own unique manner, has been relentlessly working towards making this nation a stronger one. Like many other students’ organizations, ABVP is completely an apolitical one,” he added to say. He also condemned those students’ organizations which are opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016. Chief guest educationist Bimal Nath Choudhury wished the students with all the luck for their future. Among others present included Ratankumar Das, president, and Sucharita Roy, of ABVP, Silchar unit.
