Accident on Mahasadak injures one while getting down from a minibus in Silchar

Silchar: Accidents on Mahasadak have become a regular phenomenon. One person identified as Jogai Teli (28), son of late Sukhamay Teli, resident of Boulbasti, got seriously injured while he was getting down from a minibus at the Lathigram area of the Mahasadak here on Tuesday. He boarded the minibus bearing No. AS 11 C 4545 from Sadarghat. He sustained injuries as he slipped down while getting off the bus. He was sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) for further treatment. The regular occurrences of such accidents in the same year have become a matter of concern for the people.
