All Cachar Karimganj Hailakandi Students Association (ACKHSA) slams Mrinal Hazarika for provocative statements

SILCHAR : Pro talk ULFA leader Mrinal Hazarika’s comments that he wants to return to the period of 80s to stop the passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016 from getting passed which would silence the Bengali organizations which are planning to hold a mass convention over this issue on November 17 has not been well accepted in Barak Valley. All Cachar Karimganj Hailakandi Students Association (ACKHSA) on Friday at a press-meet held at Madhyoshohor Sanskriti Samiti slammed the BJP-led state government for its inaction against such inflammable comments. Rupam Nandi Purakayastha, chief advisor of the student body, said that the government should have taken stern steps to stop attempts to create disharmony among the people of the two valleys of Barak and Brahmaputra.
