The programme was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar Dr S Lakshmanan, who is also the president of Indian Council for Child Welfare, Cachar District. In his inaugural speech, he highly appreciated the efforts of the Leos. He said that he was glad to see the youngsters taking part in such work for the welfare of the society.
More than 500 students participated in this competition from various schools. Each Leo member toiled hard for making the painting competition a success. All the participants were distributed in 12 rooms based on their groups.
