Awareness Programme on ‘Future Shandaar’ Project Held in Hailakandi

Hailakandi: An awareness programme on Future Shandaar, a child focused project, was held in Hailakandi on Monday. The programme inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli in her office conference hall was attended by 200 teachers from 100 selected schools. Founder, Haselfre Foundation, Dr Nadadur Janardhan, PhD, IAS (R) and his team members presented the objectives of the project, future applications of cyber world, Internet of Things, nano technology, block chain etc and urged the trainees to help students develop innovative ideas.

One tab loaded with artificial robotic intelligence and upcoming cyber technology was distributed for each of the 100 schools for use by teachers to ignite the young minds.

Haselfre Foundation, a public charitable trust, has deputed a district coordinator to help schools in implementation of the objectives shared in the awareness programme and loaded in the tab. The programme embedded in tab will support learning of the students and motivate them to prepare the state-of the-art technologies in 2030 and beyond. The awareness programme specially focusses on students of classes 6 to 8.

The project with its mandate to build awareness on the impact of Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems on all aspects of life and living in post 2030 is being implemented by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India in 10 aspirational districts of the North East region, including Hailakandi. “The project is within the purview of building awareness on the issues that these children will confront with when they will become adults and get ready to prepare themselves to face the challenges,” said Inspector of Schools, Rajiv Kumar Jha.

At the end of the training programme, certificates were given away to teachers for building awareness at school level under the National Mission Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems. The training includes the use of artificial intelligence enabled robotic gadget.
