Silchar, May 2: Bhasha Shaheed Smarak Samiti (BSSS) has expressed its concerns at the fate of people which lurks in the dark in matters related to NRC update process and verification of legacy code. Married women in particular are facing problems while going outstations for submission of Gaon Panchayat certificates for verification purpose. People, who are asked to report at various NSKs for verification purpose, are facing a host of problems.
The issue of Hindu Bengali, as pointed out by BSSS at a recently issued press-release, is lingering and causing problems to them. Dirty politics and petty politics have always been played with the Hindu Bengali people. Concrete steps should be taken to solve this nagging issue. It has been stated at the press-release that conjuring dirty political tricks in NRC issue is just like playing with fire. The press-release has been signed by the general secretary of BSSS, Biplab Kumar Goswami.
