Cachar Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Observes Samarpan Diwas

Silchar: The Cachar district committee of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observed Samarpan Diwas on Monday at its Itkhola office to commemorate the contributions of its founder leader Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya on his 52nd death anniversary.

Party leaders and workers attended the programme and paid rich tributes to the great leader. The octogenarian Kabindra Purkayastha, former union minister, educationist and veteran BJP leader paid floral tributes at the portrait of RSS ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya in the presence of MLA Amar Chand Jain, district president of BJP Kaushik Rai, Nitya Bhushan Dey and Kanad Purkayastha.

Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s ideals of Antodaya and integral humanism still remain the guiding force of the saffron party. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya was born on September 25, 1916 and passed away on February 11, 1968.
