District Legal Service Authority Core Group Visits Flood-Hit Areas in Hailakandi District

Hailakandi: Members of the Core Group under the District Legal Service Authority visited different flood-affected areas in Hailakandi district and took stock of the situation. The members of the Core Group visited flood-hit areas and interacted with the people of the affected areas.

The members of the group submitted a detailed report to the district administration with action to be taken to provide relief and rehabilitation to the affected people.

Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-CEO, DDMA has directed the heads of Agriculture, Health, Veterinary, and Animal Husbandry and Fisheries departments to take necessary steps on the points raised by the Core Group at the earliest and to submit the action taken the report.

The Core Group consisted of Civil Judge and Assistant Sessions Judge, A Bhuyan, SDMO, Dr. Rehena Begum, advocate, District Bar Association, Afzol Hussain Laskar, advocate Sharmina Khatun Barbhuiya, Field Officer, DDMA, Mahmadul Hassan Laskar and Patowari, Hailakandi Sadar, Anku Das.
